Our puppies do not have their tails docked as this is now against the law. As of April this year the ban on the docking of dogs tails for anything other than medical reasons came into force.

Anyone found buying or selling puppies with docked tails are effectively breaking the law, and punishments will be given. These could range from fines to the destruction of your pet.

Vets are expected to ask questions about your animal if the tail is docked and consequently, yourself and your seller of the animal could be punished.

Also, animals without tails that were born after the ban was passed, cannot now be shown as show dogs.

This information came to us from the council of docked breeds.
